Givenchy's creative director Riccardo Tisci asked Julia Roberts to do their new SS15 campaign. His direction was "no makeup, no smile" AND IT'S FUCKING GORGEOUS. I'm obsessed with it. And it inspired me to revisit The Runaway Bride. (Don't watch The Runaway Bride, it's terrible.)

JESSICA CHASTAIN

Armani threw an afterparty for the premiere of A Most Violent Year. Casual. Probably because someone realised that dressing Jessica Chastain purely in Armani for an entire film role was a pretty good idea. So all of said outfits were on display. And successful people got to gawk at them. Then Chastain turns up with the sleekest hair in all the land in the best red to ever affront an iris and everyone's like "These outfits are garbage. We see that now, because Jessica Chastain is not currently wearing them and therefore they have lost all finesse." The angles of that face! Stunning. This has been a strong Chastain year and I'm so excited to see the film. If she's ever done anything terrible I certainly don't know about it*.

ILANA GLAZER AND ABBI JACOBSON

These girls have my heart so fully. Not only are they two of the most naturally funny live performers I've ever seen, but they also created one of my favourite TV shows, Broad City. I love television so that's a big deal, I don't go throwing my viewing feelings around haphazardly. And their webseries seems so long ago now but it really is a masterpiece, so if you're not familiar, and my experience is that a lot of people in the UK aren't -- go to their youtube right now! Right now! It's the official place to start and I'm so jealous of all that you have to discover. Anyway, Glazer and Jacobson are in next month's issue of Vanity Fair and the level of style in this shoot is incredible. 50s clothing suits these beauties down to the ground. They look great. And they're back Jan 14th on Comedy Central for season two. Huzzah!
